Inspection Flashlight Added to Cleaning Kit
The Sticklers™ Fiber Optic Cleaning Kit contains everything a tech needs for speedy, affordable fiber optic cleaning. But it just got a little bit better with the addition of a high-intensity LED inspection light to the kit.
Several of our customers reported that when working in harsh environments, such as down in a manhole, the lighting can be really bad. So MicroCare added a remarkable, powerful but long-lived flashlight to the kit. Because it's an LED flashlight, battery life can be extended as much as twenty times over old-style incandescent flashlights, and the brightness of the light is remarkable.

While technological excellence is at the heart of the Sticklers™ products, equally important is the control of costs and quality. John Basso, Purchasing Manager at MicroCare, handles this demanding situation with speed and equanimity.
John has been with MicroCare for more than a decade. He supervises hundreds of vendors, thousands of part numbers, and collaborates with freight companies to get products on their way faster and less expensively. Nothing comes into our gets shipped out of MicroCare that doesn't benefit from John's endless patience and diligence.
Most recently, John's been working with Sticklers™ vendors to get the products packaged in the now-famous "Sticklers orange." In particular, the orange bags used for the cleaning kit had to be re-designed, quoted, sampled, approved, and produced in China in weeks, not months. As we have all come to expect from John, he got it done with style.
Married with two kids, John been with MicroCare since 1998.
